Sales Support Engineer

Enduro Composites, a world-class manufacturer of engineered fiberglass solutions, is seeking a Sales Support Engineer for Water & Wastewater Products to increase revenue production by supporting its outside sales personnel. The support position will be focused on the day-to-day details of Water and Wastewater Products accounts. Primary functions include, but are not limited to:

  1. Management of incoming inquiries and requests for proposals (RFQs). This includes reviewing plans, specifications, and addendums to determine which parts of the project call out for Enduro products, whether any exceptions to the specification are required and which requirements will drive any unique design opportunities.

  2. Estimating water and wastewater product solutions with information provided by Outside Sales.

  3. Query and resolve all questions and issues with external clients in conjunction with the sales team and assist sales with client meetings to help address any questions.

  4. Coordination in providing drawing concepts, test reports, literature, samples, and other promotional tools as requested to sales team.

  5. Communication with sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure on-time, accurate results including routines such as estimate variance program meeting specifications and cost updates to estimate templates.

  6. Managing estimate schedule for bid and budgets including coordinating and leading meetings to clarify specifications, design, and pricing issues with multiple teams.

  7. Use load and deflection in specifications to design the most efficient layout for bids and budgets.

  8. Coordinating new part set up and cost estimating with other departments.

  9. Inform immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items.

  10. Perform other job-related tasks as identified.

The position requires outstanding communication ability, excellent relationship building capability, good organizational skills, and a strong technical aptitude. Proficiency in CAD and design software (i.e. AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.) as well as MS Word and Excel required. Preferred candidates will have 0-3 years job related work experience and a B. S. Degree in Industrial Distribution/Technology, Construction Science, Engineering, Business or Building Construction field. Training will be provided.
